It is made from sandalwood with detail cravings on the front of the fan.
Fan are use to cool down the user during hot days. Since it is made with sandalwood, it will have some scent when it is used.
Usually the cravings will be Dragon & Phoenix.
Dragon represent the male counterpart, Phoenix represent the female counterpart.
The more detail the fan has or any special ornament at the end of a fan, the represent different status of the holder.
Now these fans will be used for Chinese traditional dance.
